Ministering to the needs of others

Ministering to the needs of others

Ephesians 2:10 tells us that “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do“. Because of this, the most important ministry Calvary Chapel Sacramento has to offer is the one that Jesus will accomplish through you. Just as the Lord blessed Abraham so that he might be a blessing to others (Genesis 12:2), the Lord also wants to bless you so that you will bless others.

Ministry at Calvary Chapel of Sacramento follows the servanthood model of Jesus Christ as presented in the Gospels. One of the best ways to grow in discipleship is by serving one another in the Body of Christ. Such service often spills over into the community, and becomes a blessing to everyone it touches.

The ministries listed here are just a few of the ways that people can strengthen their walk with Christ through the study of God’s Word, and by using their talents & gifts for His glory.
