Broom ball is played on ice so it is best to wear pants. You can bring a sweatshirt, but you won’t need it for long. Bring gloves if you don’t like the feel of cold, wet hands.

The cost is $10.00 to play and eat, or just $3.00 to watch and eat. Following the broomball game, we will return to Calvary Chapel Sacramento for pizza and games.

Sunday Morning Services

Please join us this Sunday for opportunities to draw closer both to God and other believers through prayer, worship, Bible study, and small group fellowship.

Early risers are encouraged to skip Starbucks Sunday morning and join us at 9 a.m. in the HeBrews Coffee House for coffee, baked goods, music and conversation. You are invited to join us in the sanctuary for prayer at 9:30 a.m., or you might stay in the the coffee house to enjoy the food and fellowship.

Our main Sunday service begins at 10:00 a.m. and typically features 30 minutes of worship followed by a one-hour Bible study. Care for babies and toddlers is offered by our Nursery Ministry helpers, located beside the sanctuary entry. Classes for preschoolers and K-12 children are located in our Children’s Ministry building, located just across the parking lot. Classes for Junior High and High School age youth vary depending on the time of year so it is best to call the Church Office at (916) 387-9750 for specific information.

Sunday Evening Services

If a smaller, interactive Bible study is what you are searching for, please  join us Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. During this study, Pastor Bob makes it a point to ask for questions and feedback from Bible study group. This particular study is also popular with the College and Career age group.

Wednesday Evening Service

Our mid-week Bible study meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

If Jesus is encouraging you to grow in your faith and involvement with the church body, we encourage you to visit and test out any one of the other studies, fellowships, and activities at Calvary Sacramento. Whether it is a Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Home Fellowship, working in the fireworks booth to support youth missions, or helping support the Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center there is most likely a place for you to find your role in developing the “Body of Christ”. Please join us October 8th – 10th 2010 at the Young Life Conference Center in Woodleaf California for the Northern California Men’s Ministry Men’s Retreat. Held in conjunction with a number of Calvary Chapels in the northern California region, this retreat offers something for everyone – great teaching from a wide range of area pastors, fellowship with over 300 Christian brothers, rich times of worship and praise, and of course basketball, touch football, volleyball, frisbee golf, swimming, and great food and service from the Young Life staff. Sign-up’s begin in September in the foyer outside the HeBrews Coffee House.
